in town! Irgendwann geht auch mal die Zeit der Rentner vorbei, und
junges Blut zieht ein. Am 2. Aprill 2011 war es so weit, und wir holten
Kimba aus Hamburg ab. Anfänglich noch etwas zurückhaltend taute sie
schnell auf, und zeigt sehr zu unserer Freude ziemlichen Lerneifer und
ein ruhiges freundliches Wesen, so dass sie uns so ziemlich überall hin
begleiten kann und soll.
New in town! Finally the time of our old huskies is running out and fresh blood arrived. On April 2nd, 2011 we fetched Kimba from Hamburg. She was a little shy in the beginning, but got used to us fast, showing a good portion or will to please and learn. She is very friendly with everyone and shall therefore join us an almost any activity from now on.
Für die Alten ist Kimbas Überschwang natürlich manchmal etwas viel, und ich muss sie etwas ausbremsen und ablenken, aber trotzdem ist es ein freundlicher Umgang miteinander und Amy fordert trotz ihres Alters auch immer wieder zum Spielen auf.
She has a rather overwhelming temperament when playing with the old ones, so I have to intervene from time to time and distract her for not getting to rough in her playfully manners. But Amy herself still invites her to play as well, so its just a little supervision they need.
Garten ist definitiv schon jetzt Kimbas große Leidenschaft und sie findet immer neue Wege sich zu beschäftigen und landschaftsgärtnerisch zu betätigen. ;-) Aber dazu ist der Garten ja auch da.
Kimba is totally fond of the garden and always finds new ways to play and do some reorganisation. But we are perfectly fine with that, since that's what our garden is made for.
Kimbas große Leidenschaft sind Stöckchen. Je größer, desto besser. Und Unfug machen mit dem Chef. Am besten beides zusammen!
Kimbas favourites are sticks. The bigger the better! And of course having fun with the boss. Preferably in combination!
Vielleicht doch Malamute mit drin?
Maybe there really is some malamute ancestry in her?
